In this session we'll review a hypothetical project together to explore each phase of Building Envelope Commissioning (BECx)-from initiation to post-substantial completion. 

These sessions will offer a practical, step-by-step walkthrough that integrates NIBS guidelines, BCxA Best Practices, and hands-on insights from Saphron's own experiences across various leading firms. By attending, you'll gain a clear understanding of how to apply BECx in your projects, or how to support the firms on your projects undertaking the BECx role.

 

Speaker's Bio:

Saphron brings over a decade of expertise in construction management and building envelope design and evaluation. Known for her leadership on complex projects across North America, she was recognized with the Building Committee Association (BCxA) Presidents' Award in 2025 and named to the BCxA 20 Under 40 list in 2021.

 

A thought leader in building enclosure commissioning, Saphron actively contributes to industry education, regularly speaking at national and international events and advocating for knowledge-sharing and skill development.
