Connections Café is primarily a Trade-show combined with a Keynote Speaker & Dinner Event. But its more than that! In simple terms this is an industry mixer, open to everyone, where you will rub shoulders with decision makers in the construction industry. You will have a unique opportunity to meet people of like minds and interests all in the same venue.

Café is an effective forum for networking among design and construction
professionals. It offers an opportunity for you to meet, mingle, renew
acquaintances and build new relationships from the commercial
construction industry. Target Audience
What does the Day look like? Connections Café is a half-day event.
Tradeshow: Open to all guests The trade show will be downstairs at the Winston The
afternoon will include a trade show component for the construction
industry which is open to everyone in the construction industry.
Dinner/Keynote Speaker: By Sponsor Invitation Only of Diamond, Platinum and Gold Sponsors Guests can only be invited by firms that sponsor the dinner event.
The evening will include a special opportunity to get face-to-face networking over a dinner, with your invited guests. The
Keynote speaker has the intent of being of a broad interest. They will
entice someone you would like to spend some quality time with to accept
your invitation. Breaking Down Barriers. Zak Madell will be our speaker and is presenting from 8-9 p.m. in the Majestic Ballroom. Zak
is now a three-time Paralympian in the sport of wheelchair rugby, as
well as an architectural technologist having graduated from SAIT in
2019. After graduation, Zac returned to the world of sport to resume my
pursuit of bringing a gold medal home to Canada. Next up for the team
will be the International Wheelchair Rugby Cup in Paris in October, and
the Parapan American Games taking place this November in Santiago,
Chile. The latter will be our first opportunity to qualify for the 2024
